I’ve been married to Tara for 14 years and we have a 14 year old daughter and a 11 year old son. Tara is a special needs teacher and a great source of advice. Being a teacher she’s also around during the school holidays to help out with our two, giving me more time for your child.
Both our children love playing with little ones, particularly our son who seems to be a bit of a magnet for younger children. They appear to find him entertaining (he is a bit of a clown!).
We have a pet rat called Max and a large fish tank with five cold water fish. In September 2017 we got a Brittany puppy called Edie. She’s kept in the kitchen, conservatory and her own fenced bit of garden while I am working but now she is nearly a year old (July 2018) I am beginning to let her out for the children to stroke. She’s though the bouncy puppy stage but in any case I never leave her unattended with minded children.
I like to keep fit so I have the energy to keep up with your child playing all day. I’m a keen runner and completed my first London Marathon in 2012 in under 4 hours in fancy dress. I also ran the Brighton marathon in 2016 and have run many half marathons. In 2016/17 I trained to break the world record for the fastest marathon dribbling two basketballs which I attempted at London 2017. It wasn’t to be. But watch this space!
We bought a kayak in 2015 and enjoy taking it on rivers and out to sea on sunny days.
