Our daughter Nova has been going to Kevin for over 18 months ever since she was ten
months old. We were very happy with Kevin as a childminder as he used to take care of Nova just like his own child. Every
day they used to do different activities whether it was arts & crafts, baking or attending playgroups in the area. He
makes sure he regularly takes them to the park or they play in the garden, where he shows them different bugs, birds and plants.
She always used to go to Kevin's happily in the morning and we felt safe leaving our daughter there. Kevin paid particular
attention to the development of the children he cared for and our Nova has developed very well indeed under his direction.
He always made sure he updated us about anything new that she had learnt. We were very pleased with Kevin's service
which was very professional and fun for our daughter. We recommend him very highly as a childminder and have no doubt that

I have known Kevin Howarth and his family for 3 years, and he has looked after my two sons,
Harry (3) and James (1) when I have needed childcare. He seems very organised and shows a good balance of being firm with
the children while ensuring they have a good time. He creates an atmosphere of fun and warmth in which any child would thrive.
My children clearly enjoyed their time spent with Kevin and I would be very happy for him to
look after them in the future.

I have known Kevin for 6 years as a friend.
In my opinion Kevin is eminently suitable to look after young children.
He is a very calm, organised person who has successfully balanced a potentially stressful marketing position with his
family life. He is the sort of person who plans ahead, but can still cope with unforeseen circumstances.
He clearly loves his own young children and at social events with other young children such as my niece and nephews,
Kevin displays kindness and warmth towards them. He is able to relate to youngsters in a playful and humorous manner. What
is more, he clearly enjoys his time with his own and other young children.
Kevin is well educated and from what I have seen with his daughter, he is keen to encourage learning through play.
He seems to have endless patience where his own and other children are concerned.
Finally, I would say that Kevin is very safety conscious, ensuring that children in his care come to no physical harm.
I have seen him be firm with his daughter when necessary, without compromising the wonderful relationship he has with her.
I am sure he could transfer all of these skills in dealing with other children.
